This photo really illustrates Winter in Chinese Medicine:  Water. Fear.  Salt.  (and at night time, black). Not knowing what comes next, how you are going to get through. After Winter, Spring… By the Chinese calendar, spring will start arriving next week (Chinese New Year, Jan 23).  It’s a different concept than the Western calendar.  Spring will creep in and blossom day by day, to be in full swing in March & April.
